Application Engineer

Description

The Applications Engineer supports the business development team by creating equipment concepts, estimating costs, and preparing detailed quotes for customer requests. Day to Day: - Prepare proposals: Develop engineering concepts, accurate cost estimates, and clear written quotes for assigned projects. - Collaborate with teams and customers: Ensure specifications are understood and proposals meet customer needs. - Support kick-off meetings: Provide detailed project scope information to internal teams and customers. - Manage inquiries and records: Respond promptly to proposal requests and maintain organized documentation. - Contribute to business development: Assist with trade shows, share ideas for process improvements, and stay informed on new technologies. - Visiting customers, performing the initial development of projects, tracking quotation cost performance, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
