Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible

for performing global Accounts Payable and Cash application duties within ERP system, Sage Intacct, as well as assisting the Controller with managing the deadlines and tasks for the month-end close processes and procedures. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Process accounts payable invoices, including internal approvals using Stampli Software
• Handle inquiries from vendors
• Manage check runs, ACH, and wire payments on a weekly basis and work with bank platform to ensure authorized payment files are loaded weekly for positive pay items
• Send remittance slips for all payments to vendors each week
• **Review, process, and assist with training for Expense Reporting platform
• **Record daily cash receipts, disbursements, transfers, and other commercial banking activities
• Assist with monthly accounting close, end of month reconciliations, journal entries for the month-end close process, and reconciliations to the general ledger
• Coordinate or fulfill cyclical and year-end requests for annual audit and tax requests
• Perform other duties and assignments as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting
• Must have 3 to 5 years general accounting knowledge and experience
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite; Sage Intacct, Stampli, and Emburse Certify experience is required
• General knowledge of accounting, financial statements, internal controls, and professional standards (GAAP) is required
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, self-starter, and ability to handle pressure
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Must have a high level of efficiency, accuracy, attention to detail, and organization skills
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
