SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
- Perform various reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliation, and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintains and sets up vendors.
- Processes internal company invoicing.
- Assists with Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions.
- Participates in various month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Assists with the reviewing of weekly Payroll.
- Processes daily receipts
- All other duties as assigned.
- Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contracting business or accounting.
- 3+ years of senior level accounting experience.
- Full knowledge of GAAP.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
- Minimum of an associate degree in business, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License
