Master Level Clinician
$52,140.86/yr
Program: ICM (Intensive Case Management)
Location(s): Sussex County
Status: Full-Time40 hours
Schedule: M-F 8a-4p
The Clinician is responsible for designing and directing individualized behavioral treatment plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary team members. This role includes supervising bachelor’s level support staff, consulting with families, and implementing ongoing behavioral interventions from a trauma-informed, holistic perspective.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as part of a multidisciplinary team providing trauma-informed, values-based services.
- Lead development and recertification of treatment plans, ISPs, and measurable goals for clients.
- Organize input from therapists, case managers, advocates, specialists, and medical professionals into comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention support from a trauma-informed perspective.
- Conduct screenings and assessments for depression, trauma, substance use, and criminal risk using validated tools.
- Complete all required assessments and documentation for compliance and service continuity.
- Participate in quality improvement and training activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel for job-related responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally (medium physical demand).
- Comfortable working in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, fumes, confined spaces).
- Physical abilities include standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working within a trauma-informed care model.

ABOUT THE AFFILIATE
Individuals residing in Sussex or Kent Counties (up to and including Dover), who have a serious and persistent mental illness—such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder, can be referred to the ICM through the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health. Intensive case management services are provided by an interdisciplinary team, based on their recovery model and tailored to each person’s circumstances, desires, and needs. ICM strives to assist individuals in reaching their goals while remaining as independent as possible. This program is funded by and part of the system of public services offered by Delaware DSAMH.
