Teacher/Back-up Administrator
We are in need of a dedicated, reliable Teacher/Back-up Administrator who is a team player to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our Early Preschool/pre-k students. This person will be a dedicated opener or closer - open/close varies based on schedule. Half of day in classroom, half of day in office/admin.
EICK Global STEM Academy is a small childcare program in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students!
8:30am - 5:30pm/7:00am - 4:00pm.
Monday - Friday with 60-minute lunch.
$18.50/hour base; Education and experience considered.
- Free childcare for one child.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for teaching young children.
- Have the ability to create and implement creative and engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students and promote learning and development.
- Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
- Have experience with administrative responsibilities.
- A valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be familiar with Ohio DCY Licensing requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and Implement lesson plans for children.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of all children in the classroom and beyond.
- Be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training, as applicable.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Assist with the needs of opening or closing the center as needed or scheduled.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education, and 2 years childcare experience.
