Position Summary

A Radiology Clinical Educator combines clinical practice with teaching and educational responsibilities, focusing on advancing the field of radiology through education.

Responsibilities

• Along with the responsibilities of a Radiographer
  • instruct Radiology students in radiology principles, practices and procedures
  • participate in the development and refinement of educational experiences and materials
  • take on leadership roles in education initiatives within radiology
  • provide guidance and mentorship to students
  • contribute to the improvement of educational quality and patient care through evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• internal LMH Radiographer working dayshift hours which align with the hours that students primarily attend clinical rotations
• strong communication skills, effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences
• work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and fostering learning
• a solid foundation in clinical radiology practice
• knowledge of teaching methodologies, development and assessment techniques
• a dedication to advancing knowledge and contributing to the field of medical education
