Department: Clinical Services Position Overview New Vision Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor (LPCC-S) to join our clinical leadership team. This role combines direct therapeutic services with clinical supervision of counselors and interns. The LPCC-S will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards while mentoring developing clinicians in a collaborative, trauma-informed environment serving children, adolescents, and adults. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision & Team Development
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to LPCs, LPCCs, and counseling interns pursuing licensure.
- Support supervisees with case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and clinical skill development.
- Maintain accurate supervision records in compliance with Ohio CSWMFT Board requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentor staff toward successful licensure and professional growth.
- Deliver high-quality outpatient mental health services including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Treat a wide range of mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and relational issues using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
- Maintain a balanced caseload while delivering strong clinical outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) in accordance with agency, state, and insurance requirements.
- Uphold ethical standards, HIPAA compliance, and all applicable regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer consultation.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development of clinical programs, group curriculum, and community outreach efforts.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and agency-wide initiatives.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to staff during crisis situations, including risk assessment and safety planning.
- Active LPCC-S license in good standing with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (required).
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-independent licensure clinical experience.
- Prior experience providing clinical supervision strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
