• Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary

The Recovery Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting clients in early recovery by providing transportation, structure, accountability, and peer-level support. This position helps ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment while modeling positive behaviors and recovery principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to and from appointments, treatment services, and housing locations
• Serve as a positive role model and provide peer support to clients in recovery
• Observe and report client behaviors, concerns, and incidents appropriately
• Complete detailed daily shift reports and documentation in a timely manner
• Administer random drug screenings in accordance with program policies
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with all clients
• Communicate effectively with the Operations Director and clinical team
• Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Clean background check (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and boundaries in a behavioral health setting
• Experience in recovery, behavioral health, or human services (preferred but not required)
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
