Shipping/Receiving Clerk

A fast-paced printing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to work first shift from either 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, you must be flexible to work overtime and/or weekend work when needed.

Duties:**

• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Operate a tow motor and hand pallet jack
• **Read and comprehend work orders, procedures, and documents, and listen to job directions
• **Pull materials according to specifications on job tickets and track in system to ensure all inventory counts are accurate
• Properly package materials in order to be shipping according to customer or manager specifications
• Verify inventory and place materials into inventory
• Utilize a computer and work with UPS, FedEx, International Shipping, and Company's Printing and Shipping Computer System

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Must have at least 2 years experience working in a warehouse performing shipping and receiving duties
• Must be able to operate a tow motor with previous certification and the ability to use a hand pallet jack
• Must have the ability to read and comprehend work orders
• Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds
• Must be computer literate with UPS, Fed-Ex, and international shipping knowledge
• Must have the ability to bend, squat, kneel, push, and pull materials
• Must be comfortable with frequent standing and walking for 7 to 8 hours each day
• Must be able to adapt and cope with stressful situations for long periods of time
• Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, excellent attendance, and a strong work ethic
