Bruns Building & Development, which is a part of Bruns Construction Enterprises, Inc., has been serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional construction industry for more than 70 years. We do large dirt projects, manufacturing facilities, reroof projects, warehousing, renovation, schools and church work. The majority of our work is self-performed with warranties that exceed industry warranties. We are looking for people who are self-motivated and want a career. Description:
- Manage day to day dirt work operations on the jobsite
- Oversee Equipment Operators and other construction staff to ensure completion of tasks by scheduled time
- The applicant will responsible for running bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders, and other construction equipment
- Coordinate with subcontractors and Project Manager to complete job on time and budget
- Quality control on the jobsite
- Work will be done mainly on industrial, commercial and institutional projects
- Assist with training and development of staff
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on leader
- High school diploma/GED
- Competence with hand tools associated with the craft
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- A basic understanding of how to read blueprints
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility & willingness to work in multiple positions to see the project completed as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible
