Medical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Genesis Healthcare System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required; must be able to read telemetry.

Required Credentials: Telemetry competency test on day one; failure to pass results in termination.

Special Requests: Only start date available is July 20 unless returning as a Genesis traveler within the last 9 months.

Unit Details: Current Epic EMR proficiency is required; refresher classes or 1:1 support are not available.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Holidays as required. No call requirement.

Floating Requirements: Works primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and will occasionally float between Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
