Senior Solution Engineer - Keysight EDA

Keysight Technologies is a leading supplier of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software for communications product design. ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Success team within Keysight at the forefront of Keysight’s software strategy. As a Solution Engineer at Keysight, you will be responsible for the adoption, retention & expansion of Keysight software solutions at our major customers. You will work closely with the customer to build Design Flows and provide an integrated Customer Experience. Along with your technical expertise, you will know your customers world view and understand the key strategic investments, their major products and projects, and their desired design flows and current gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Ambition to expand Keysight solutions within customers’ approved design flow(s).
- Deliver value to our customers by enabling their success with Keysight software and solutions. (Deliver regular training events, webinars/seminars, etc.)
- Has deep product knowledge and can discuss technical details with customers. Can do extensive benchmarks or evaluations if needed. Brings in extra help when needed.
- Is involved in all ongoing design and technical activities at customer site. Is able to articulate customer’s design flow, its gaps and challenges.
- Help showcase the value of Keysight EDA solutions and enable customers to achieve their goals effectively.
- Partner with internal teams and customers to research and deliver novel solutions to real-world customer problems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively learn new tools, including AI/ML, to support evolving customer needs
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Excellent communications skills with strong customer interaction capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience (RF/Microwave or RFIC design and verification, or in an applications engineering role supporting these technologies.)
- Knowledge of Keysight EDA tools (e.g., ADS) and/or other industry EDA tools.
- Demonstrates strong collaboration skills while remaining proactive and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Python for design and work automation.
Preferred
- MS or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Expertise in Keysight EDA tools (e.g. ADS, RFPro, Nexus)
- Expert-level knowledge of RF/Microwave & RFIC design.
- Expertise in automating design flows with AEL and Python, leveraging emerging agentic AI and RAG approaches.
- Experience with Application Engineering or Customer Support.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
Bay Area, CA MIN $177,540-MID $236,720- MAX $295,900
