Security Officer - Full Time
- Responsible for the oversight of safety and security for hotel guests and colleagues
- Strong guest service orientation in order to ensure high guest expectations
- Respond to guest and colleague emergencies and requests
- Act as liaison between security and other hotel departments
- Train hotel staff as needed
- Other duties may include assisting the front desk and housekeeping as needed with guest requests and concerns
- Provide guests with a safe and caring environment and ensure interactions with guests result in a positive experience
- Support other operating departments as needed

- Security experience in an upscale environment is preferred
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills

- Capable of standing for long periods of time and constantly walking for patrols
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Unafraid of customer service related tasks and responsibilities
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, first, second shift and third shifts
