- Design, develop, test, and debug high‑quality software applications with a primary focus on C++.
- Build and maintain modeling and simulation software, ensuring reliability, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Collaborate on software architecture and design, contributing to the planning and implementation of new features and system enhancements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, following established coding standards and development processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional team members in a fast‑paced, agile environment to deliver high‑value capabilities.
- Participate in peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback and supporting continuous improvement across the engineering team.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure stable and reliable system performance.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in a containerized environment.
- Support the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and performance.
- Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in modern software development.
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard/Flexible (3 days in office)
- High School Diploma or Associates degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of programming experience; preferably with C++
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Excellent interpersonal and intrateam communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- MBSE experience
- Flight Simulation and/or Aerospace Engineering background
