Production Operator

Shift: Midnight Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM); Starts Sunday night at 11:00 PM

Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) for 4–8 weeks

Salary: $23.62 per hour; Shift differential applies once transitioned to the midnight shift

Production Operator Role

The Production Operator is responsible for the critical initial stages of the manufacturing process. This role ensures that all metal components are properly cleaned, blasted, and treated to meet strict bonding and quality specifications before moving to the molding department.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial washing and degreasing of metal cylinders and components
• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare metal surfaces for coating
• Apply adhesive bonding materials and specialized coatings to prepared surfaces
• Utilize overhead cranes to safely move heavy materials and molds throughout the work center
• Maintain a steady production pace to ensure a seamless handoff to the next shift in a 24/5 environment
• Monitor work quality to ensure all parts meet required standards for the molding department
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation

About You

• Demonstrate a strong, stable work history in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
• Possess the physical stamina to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in a non-climate-controlled shop
• Experience with overhead crane operation is highly preferred
• Must be able to maintain a reliable and consistent presence on the midnight shift
• Show a willingness to cross-train in multiple areas to support career and pay growth
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and a 90-day hair follicle drug screen
