Title: Machine Operator

Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available; training typically occurs on day shift

Salary: $23.62/hour (+ $1.00 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift)

Machine Operator Role:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various manufacturing machines to produce high-quality industrial parts. This role ensures production targets are met while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Adjust machine settings to produce parts within specified tolerances
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components into machines
• Conduct regular inspections using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers
• Monitor output to ensure all products meet strict quality specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal machine performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and report progress to leadership

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

About You:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to high-quality standards and attention to detail
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
