Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting warehouse staff. This role plays a key part in the efficiency, safety, and productivity of warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise all activities on the warehouse floor across shifts.
- Execute and follow up on daily directives issued by management.
- Act as point of contact for warehouse staff during assigned shift.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure cross-training of warehouse personnel.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to warehouse staff.
Inventory & Documentation:
- Provide effective inventory management aligned with company goals.
- Conduct daily and monthly inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and logs.
- Ensure no product enters or exits the warehouse without proper documentation.
- Recommend improvements to inventory and storage processes.
Safety & Organization:
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure proper signage is in place.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure warehouse environment.
- Oversee and support proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Operational Support:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Determine optimal storage locations based on space, access, and product type.
- Actively participate in receiving, shipping, and storing inventory items.
- Support both warehouse personnel and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Steel toe boots.
- Hi Vis Safety vest – provided.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $19–$21 based on experience.

Schedule:
Two positions available (Monday–Friday):
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
