Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer payments. Your duties will include reviewing account information and correcting errors, creating invoices, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong mathematical skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Processing and accurately recording transactions


• Maintaining detailed records of payments and account statuses


• Sending reminders regarding overdue payments


• Researching any account discrepancies and taking appropriate action for resolution


• Creating accurate and informative reports


• Collaborating with other departments to gather additional information, ensure accounts are up-to-date, and develop repayment plans


• Communicating with clients regarding the payments on their accounts


• Answering telephone with multiple lines


• Dispatching


• Collecting payments and reconciling accounts

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar position


• Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software


• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Quickbooks


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices


• Excellent problem-solving and research skills


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail


• Able to work in fast pace environment.


• Team player


• Customer Service skills are a must


• Min. typing of 75 WPM

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

We do a lot of rescue exercises with local authorities to practice real life scenarios. We're the largest towing company in the Saint Clairsville, OH area. We serve all of Belmont County. We have been named Belmont County's preferred provider for the past 10 years. Our 12 in-house towing trucks can handle any job, including light, medium, and heavy-duty towing. We also offer Bridgestone and Goodyear national accounts for tires. We have been recognized by the governor of Ohio and have received an American Towman award for rescue operation. One of our trucks has also won the first place in the 2017 Shining Star competitions in the heavy-duty division. We offer 24/7 service.
