In support of this model roles have been categorized into one of three work location categories:
1. Onsite roles where employees are expected to be onsite daily.
2. Hybrid fixed roles that are a mix of remote work and onsite work fixed days each week

Job Summary
PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 IT Intern - Data & Analytics team.
This job involves working as a Data & Analytics intern supporting PSEGs operational excellence by enabling employees to leverage analytics data visualization automation and continuous process improvement.
This position will be Hybrid Fixed.
Job Responsibilities
Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
- Work with employees throughout the company to assist them in the design creation publishing update and maintenance of business intelligence reports (e.g. in Power BI) or other data analysis tools (e.g Python AWS).
- Assistance to client may cover data Extract Transform and Load (ETL) data model creation calculations (e.g. Power BI DAX) report creation and publishing.
- Assist as needed with data governance or automation governance.
Job Specific Qualifications
- The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Math or related technical field and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029. Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Incumbent must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.
- Department of Energys regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
Desired :
- 3.0 GPA
- Experience with Power BI and/or other data visualization software
- Data Analysis Skills (e.g. ETL Python SQL)
- Overall strong technical proficiency in information technology/computer disciplines
- Strong MS Office skills
- Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
- Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients IT management and staff
- Good communications consultative and interpersonal skills including oral written and presentation
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate. Incumbents are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing transportation and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
