Currently, our client is looking for a Materials Manager.

Duties of the Materials Manager include:

Create a smooth flow from the purchasing of raw materials to the shipping of manufactured products
Manage demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory control
Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials
Develop and refine SOPs for purchasing, inventory control, material/production planning, warehousing, and shipping
Ensure adequate availability of materials for production needs
Work with suppliers to improve material delivery and quality
Assist with departmental budget
Continuously communicate materials updates with other department leaders
Ensure on-time and accurate shipping
Create a proactive and positive working environmental in all areas of materials
Work cohesively with other plant departments to ensure 100% on time delivery of materials/products internal and externally

Requirements for the Materials Manager include:

A Bachelor’s Degree
Previous experience as a Materials Manager or similar position
Collaborative personality and strong management skills
Proven leadership skills and the ability to create positive direction for the department
