EDI Architect

Akkodis is seeking an EDI Architect for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will bring deep IBM Sterling Integrator expertise to lead complex integrations and drive partner onboarding and mapping development .

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

EDI Architect job responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture, design, and governance of enterprise EDI and B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator.

• Define EDI/B2B architectural standards, mapping conventions, integration patterns, and best practices across global environments.

• Oversee development of EDI maps, SI Business Processes, partner configurations, communication protocols, and system integrations with SAP/Oracle ERPs.

• Collaborate with business units, ERP teams, infrastructure, and trading partners to design secure, compliant, and scalable integration flows.

• Drive trading‑partner onboarding, modernization initiatives, performance tuning, and cloud or hybrid migration strategies.

• Conduct root‑cause analysis, manage architectural risks, create solution documentation, and mentor development/support teams to ensure operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of experience in EDI/B2B architecture, integration design, and enterprise‑scale solution delivery.

• Extensive hands‑on expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator, including BP design, mapping, communication protocols, and performance tuning.

• Strong experience integrating with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS), leading global trading‑partner onboarding, and architecting secure, scalable EDI/B2B frameworks.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
