responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user support.
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability across all business units.
- Oversee incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Coordinate workload, priorities, and schedules to meet service-level expectations.
- Build a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Process & Systems Management
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Implement monitoring tools and dashboards to track performance and risks.
- Drive automation and efficiency in IT workflows.
- Security & Compliance
- Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee patch management, access controls, and data protection practices.
- Support audits and risk assessments.
- Strategic Contribution
- Provide regular updates to leadership on IT performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Align IT operations with business priorities and growth initiatives.
- Contribute to long-term planning for infrastructure scalability and resilience.
qualifications:
5+ years of proven, hands-on experience within IT operations and infrastructure management. Minimum of 2 years in a direct leadership or supervisory role, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing technical teams. Strong, functional knowledge of enterprise network administration, cloud service platforms, and complex corporate systems. Deep understanding of ITIL methodologies, comprehensive service desk management, and vendor coordination. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to thrive in and manage multifaceted, fast-paced technical environments.
