Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Furnace Expert with extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of induction melting furnaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with less common metals beyond copper, steel, and aluminum, and possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to induction furnace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain induction melting furnaces efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with induction furnaces, identifying root causes and recommending effective solutions.
- Work with a variety of metals, including less common and specialty metals, ensuring optimal melting processes.
- Specify, select, and manage refractory components to maintain furnace integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend, specify, install, and tune furnace controls and other related components.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance furnace operation and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating induction melting furnaces.
- Hands-on experience with metals other than copper, steel, and aluminum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to induction furnace technology.
- Knowledge of refractory materials and their application in furnace environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize furnace performance.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
