Job Duties

• Resolve issues involving test systems and implement improvements which may include circuit analysis, wiring troubleshooting, analyzing test data, debugging test systems, soldering, mechanical assembly, repair, documentation, purchase requests, etc.
• Design, acquire, and assemble equipment to build test fixtures and test hardware. Design, develop, modify and implement testing software.
• Work with Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to deal with any issues concerning electronics products or printed circuit board assemblies failing test.
• Keep current on industry test standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0-4 years related experience\
• Associate Degree (Electrical Engineering)
  • Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
• Occasional travel (0-5%)
• Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

Preferred Qualifications

• A two-year degree in Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience with electronics, electro-mechanical systems, wiring, metal/plastic fabrication, soldering (thru-hole and SMT) and data analysis systems.
• Basic circuits knowledge is crucial.
• Experience in designing, building and programming bed-of-nails, in circuit, functional and automated test stations.
• Be able to develop CAD schematics and mechanical designs for fabrication.
• Have experience and knowledge of programming LabView, Teststand, C, HP Basic, Visual Basic and Access software. Have experience with developing and debugging Agilent 3070 ICT programs.
• Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skill among plant floor and support staff.
• Must be able to plan and execute small projects
