Job Description

Company Description

Founded in 2008 with just 50 fifth-grade students, KIPP Columbus now serves more than 2,000 students in grades K–12. In partnership with families and our community, we’re building joyful, academically excellent schools that equip students with the confidence and skills to pursue college, career, and beyond.

KIPP Columbus ranks among the top schools in Ohio for academic growth — and is one of the highest-performing urban schools in the state. In our first three graduating classes (2020–2022), 100% of students were accepted to college and/or military service, earning nearly $40 million in merit scholarships.

Beyond the classroom, we partner with nearly 100 organizations to offer health services, enrichment programming, athletics, and more. As an Ohio High School Athletic Association member, we offer over 10 varsity sports and a full range of extracurricular opportunities.

SPED at KIPP

At KIPP Columbus, we believe that exceptional Special Education services are not an add-on — they are foundational to fulfilling our mission. While many systems outsource this critical work, we are building something different: a sustainable, in-house model grounded in deep expertise, robust support, and investment in the long-term growth of SPED professionals. Here, you'll find a place where your knowledge is valued, your growth is prioritized, and your impact is lasting. As we expand our SPED team for the 2025–2026 school year, we’re looking for educators and specialists who are ready to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful difference.
