IT | Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement security protocols and measures to protect network data and systems.
• Collaborate with IT staff to identify network needs and develop solutions to enhance performance.
• Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of network hardware and software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with firewall and security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
