INTL - India - BODS Developer

Job Description

A fortune 100 organization is seeking a BODS Developer that will work hybrid on site (once a month) in Bangalore India for a long term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design, development, and testing ETL processes using SAP Data Services (BODS) to integrate data from various sources into S4 HANA.

• Develop data migration jobs to support data loads into S4HANA using IDOCs, BAPIs, LSMWs, LTMC and/or Migration Cockpit methodologies.

• Optimize Data Services jobs for performance and scalability to support loading processes

• Develop BODS jobs to create various reconciliation reports such as Preload, Validation, Post load reports to provide insights to stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Data Services jobs and processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues

• Deploy Data Services jobs to various environments partnering with BASIS and Technical teams

• Work Closely with analysts, architects and other stakeholders to understand data requirements

Skills Needed:

• Strong proficiency in designing, developing, testing and deploying Data Services (SAP BODS) jobs, including:

o Job design and workflow creation

o Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

o Data quality and cleansing techniques

o Performance tuning and optimization

o Error handling and logging

o Repository management and version control

• Experience loading data into S4 HANA using IDOCs, BAPI, LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit.

• Experience using HANA database and proficiency with HANA calculation views is a plus.

• SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and transformation within Data Services. Experience with various database platforms.

• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems (S/4HANA) and data structures.

• Proficient in the English language

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in data migration using SAP BODS 2+ years of experience in loading data into S4 HANA using IDOC, BAPI, LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit 1+ years of experience with HANA database and utilizing HANA calculation views

Strong experience with SQL for data manipulation, querying and transforming

Fluent in English Information Steward
