Maintenance Worker

**Job Reference Number:** 35350 **Employment Type:** Part-Time **Segment:** Dining & Events **Brand:** Constellation **State:** New Jersey (US-NJ) **The Role at a glance:** We are looking to add an enthusiastic, motivated Maintenance Worker/Housekeeper to our Constellation team at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. **Compensation:** $17 an hour. + Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, kitchen spaces, and storage rooms. + Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces regularly. + Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with sanitation policies. + Launder and restock linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies as needed. + Monitor cleanliness standards and report issues promptly. + Wash and sanitize all dishes, cookware, and utensils following health code standards. + Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas. + Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen deliveries. + Ensure cleaning and sanitation chemicals are used and stored safely. + Support kitchen staff during peak hours as needed. + Perform routine maintenance tasks including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. + Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues. + Respond to urgent maintenance requests from restaurant or catering staff. + Coordinate with external vendors for larger repairs and scheduled servicing. + Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. **Qualifications:** + Previous experience in housekeeping, kitchen stewarding, or facility maintenance preferred. + Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and maintenance equipment. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. + Physical stamina to lift, move, and stand for extended periods. \#LI-DM1 \#indeedelior **About Constellation:** From retail spaces to office buildings, Constellation provides high-quality business dining and catering experiences all over the United States.
