Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the accounting team, overseeing daily operations across general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
- Manage the monthly close process and deliver accurate financial reporting packages for leadership.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and oversee multi-entity and multi-location consolidations.
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Support the financial integration of acquired companies, including aligning accounting processes, systems, and historical financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and financial visibility of newly acquired entities.
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to support scalable growth.
- Lead preparation for annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Partner with leadership to improve cash management practices and financial processes.
- Assist with ERP and financial system enhancements or implementations to improve reporting efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve financial visibility across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience with prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting environments.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including post-acquisition financial integration.
- Background working within growth-oriented or acquisition-driven organizations.
- Experience with ERP systems and system implementations preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
