Building Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team, responsible for troubleshooting, service, and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment. The role requires a keen understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical components, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment.
• Manage HVAC systems including heating equipment, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, exhaust fans, VAVs, and rooftop units.
• Maintain mechanical systems such as valves, compressors, pumps, steam stations, and motors.
• Oversee plumbing systems including fixtures, toilets, urinals, flush valves, and sinks.
• Conduct electrical maintenance on lights, outlets, breakers, and generators.

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in commercial or industrial properties.
• Proficiency in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
• EPA Universal certification.

• Skills in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment

Work within a commercial office building. The role primarily operates during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies after hours and on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $33.86/hr.
