Overview

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other RBTs, BCBA, IS, and educational lead. Will be able to work with multiple students at a time in a classroom setting and implement behavior intervention plans.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of licensed clinicians, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors.
  • Support clients during their school day, assisting with skill development in areas such as communication, socialization, daily living skills, academics and adaptive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with IS, BCBA, SLP, OT to ensure carry over through out the child's school day.
  • Maintain or receive your RBT certification.
  • Be able to pass Physical Intervention training and implement with fidelity when needed.

Experience

  • Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly preferred.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and document data accurately during the school day.
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Compassionate attitude with patience and flexibility to support clients’ unique needs.
  • A background in special education or behavioral health is a plus; relevant certifications are encouraged but not required.
