Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician - A to join our dynamic service team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have automotive experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and expertise in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems. As an integral part of our team, you will ensure customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards, utilizing advanced tools and techniques.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and automotive electrical systems to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
• Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general inspections.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to complete repairs effectively.
• Repair and replace ADAS components and perform wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain detailed service records and document repair procedures for each vehicle serviced.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and recommending appropriate services.

Experience

• Dealership experience or prior service technician experience preferred.
• Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
• Hands-on experience with GM vehicles, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with automotive estimating software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes including welding, alignment, maintenance, and vehicle service procedures.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
