Transit & Flow is a growing, early stage services company building scalable plumbing and commercial operations in the Columbus market. This role is designed for someone who wants to help shape how a sales organization is built, not inherit a mature system.

You will be expected to generate and close net new business immediately, operate on site with minimal oversight, and communicate roadblocks in real time. The expectation is to begin closing opportunities quickly and show measurable impact within the first three weeks.

Job Overview

You will own the full sales cycle and help establish sales execution standards in a startup environment. This is a field based role requiring initiative, judgment, and the ability to operate without layers of management.

There is a defined path to Director or Executive responsibility. Equity participation may be available based on first year delivery and leadership contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Close several net new residential, commercial, or property management opportunities within the first three weeks
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through signed agreement and handoff
  • Engage customers on site and in the field with minimal oversight
  • Conduct in person and virtual sales presentations with decision makers
  • Prepare, present, and close estimates and service agreements
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in ServiceFusion and GoHighLevel
  • Provide weekly written sales updates covering activity, pipeline, forecast, and risks
  • Communicate roadblocks, pricing resistance, or customer delays in real time
  • Use Slack for immediate escalation and visibility
  • Use Google Workspace for proposals, reporting, documentation, and communication
  • Review the Transit & Flow pricebook and provide feedback on competitiveness and objections
  • Make field level decisions within approved pricing and margin guardrails
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure scope accuracy and delivery readiness

  • Signed agreements and deal velocity in the first three weeks
  • Active and accurate CRM pipeline from day one
  • Clear communication of risks before outcomes are impacted
  • Consistent follow up without prompting
  • Reliable weekly reporting and forecasting

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience closing outside or field sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
  • Experience providing weekly progress or pipeline updates
  • Strong follow up discipline and time management
  • Comfort operating in a commission based, performance measured role

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • MBA preferred for executive track growth
