Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to join our insurance agency team. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, this individual will provide excellent customer service while supporting daily office operations. The Receptionist will handle phone calls, process payments, distribute mail and voicemails, and assist with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient office workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Distribute voicemails to the appropriate staff members.
• Greet and assist visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Collect and process customer payments accurately.
• Sort, distribute, and organize incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a neat and welcoming reception area.
• Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
• Assist staff with various support services as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle confidential client information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional office or administrative training a plus.
• Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with office technology (phones, copiers, scanners) and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email).
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
