Resident Care Partner

The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community located in Oxford, OH is seeking a compassionate, and team player Resident Care Partner (RCP) to add to our Assisted Living team! This is a full-time hourly position that will require you to work every other weekend and some holidays. The hours for this position are 7a-3p. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility in their hours to accommodate later activities. The pay range for this position is $15.50- $18.25. Pay is based on prior caregiver and life enrichment experience.

As a Resident Care Partner, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living as assigned, in accordance with the service plan and state and federal regulations
• Responds to resident calls and alerts promptly and adheres to assignments and care schedules.
• Performs daily housekeeping tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures. Demonstrate courtesy and respect for residents and their belongings.
• Notes pertinent resident information for oncoming shifts and makes verbal and/or written reports as needed.
• Promotes independence and the ability to make personal choices and provides encouragement and support to residents, as needed.
• Encourages participation and assists residents with getting to and from scheduled life enrichment, spiritual, and other programs
• Contributes to the development of written assessments, care plans, and documents progress with each resident.
• Assists with the development of the monthly calendar, ensuring it includes daily evening, holiday, and weekend events and activities.
• Assists with planning the programs including educational, entertainment, spiritual, and physical activities, and programs
• Decorates designated areas for special events and parties and provides necessary assistance to residents, helps with preparation and clean-up for such events.

Benefits: Benefits will begin after 30 days of employment. Benefits will include Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay, 401k with a guaranteed match up to 5%. Some additional voluntary benefits, short- and long-term disability are also available.
