Machine Operator 1st & 2nd $16-$17

Kelly Services is hiring a Press Operator for a well-established manufacturer and supplier of wire harnesses, cables, and custom components, proudly headquartered in Twinsburg since 1987.

You will be operating a Terminating Machine requiring you to press a foot pedal while a head comes down to clamp a connector to a wire. You are able to perform this job seated.

$16 Per Hour (Higher pay with machine setup experience)

1* * st Shift 7 am - 3pm & 2 nd shift 2 pm - 10pm ($1.00 shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

• Work and follow direction with terminating supervisor

• Setup, control, and maintain all terminating equipment per instruction

• Keep and maintain daily micrometer calibration (if applicable)

• Working knowledge of wire harness anatomy

• Process and control terminating paper work

• Complete and follow all required paper work, documents, and procedures for department

• Control and assure quality of work

• Understand the wire harness manufacturing process

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required

• Ability to read and understand department paperwork

• Basic math proficiency

• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and rulers

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs. intermittently

Must be able to bend, squat, stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
