Toledo Tire & Auto Care is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable team member to join our Southwyck location. This isn't a desk job, and it isn't a sit-and-wait role. You're coordinating customer shuttle runs, receiving and organizing parts deliveries, managing returns so nothing expires or gets missed, and making sure the shop looks and runs the way a professional operation should.
If the idea of a day where everything is tracked, nothing falls through the cracks, and you go home knowing the team ran smoother because of you - that's the job.
Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:- Receive, verify, organize, and stock incoming automotive parts and inventory.
- Process and track core returns, defective parts returns, and new parts returns to ensure deadlines are met and opportunities are not missed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and communicate discrepancies to Service Advisors and store leadership.
- Coordinate customer shuttle schedules and transportation needs, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Safely transport customers while providing a professional and friendly experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
- Help ensure the customer waiting area, parking lot, shop, and exterior facilities consistently reflect company standards.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and complete cleanliness and organization checklists.
- Support Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Team Leader with daily operational needs and special projects.
- Identify operational issues before they become problems and take ownership of resolving them.
- Follow company processes and procedures to help maintain an efficient, profitable, and customer-focused operation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and transport customers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or retail stockroom management.
- Automotive parts, dealership, auto repair, or automotive service experience.
- Experience coordinating deliveries, transportation, or operational support activities.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and documentation processes.
