Press Brake Operator

We are assisting our client in Evendale with their need for an experienced Press Brake Operator.  This is a 1st shift position, M-F, 7 AM - 3:30 PM.  Pay is $18-$22/hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job
• Plans details of working procedure and tooling requirements
• Sets up Press Brake with appropriate tooling for the part to be formed
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly

Minimum Requirements:

• One year of experience in press brake operation
• Knowledge and use of measuring equipment (rulers, micrometers, dial calipers, squares)
• Accurately and efficiently complete all required tasks and documentation
• Must be able to function well in a fast-paced work environment and deal with a variety of work situations
• Communicate effectively with co-workers
• Follow safety and housekeeping guidelines

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate multi-axis CNC press brakes (familiar with Cincinnati Inc. press brakes is a plus)
• Knowledge of material forming fundamentals, die selection and measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers, squares, etc.)
• Use and be familiar with basic hand tools and measuring tools
• Must be able to read, follow and understand blueprints, methods, procedural instructions and interpret visual aids
• Must be able to perform basic math

Essential Physical Functions:

• The employee is required to sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted repetitiously and consistently.
• Work involves considerable stooping, bending, lifting and working overhead in factory setting
• Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable
• Work performed in a fast-paced, shop environment

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
