Digital Designer

:

As a Digital Designer at wowbrands, you will be responsible for concepting, designing and executing strategic, brand-appropriate solutions for client projects including monthly promotional assets, websites, email blasts, content marketing/social media, and animations that adhere to existing client brand standards and contribute to the visual growth of each client. Your portfolio demonstrates a strong understanding of typography, grid design, and layout skills and must include web or digital work.

The Digital Designer must be capable of taking design direction from the Art Director, be self-motivated, organized, and work well as part of our small team. The right candidate has an eye for detail, is passionate about digital design and understands marketing deliverables while having a keen eye for what works and what doesn't in converting online customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects demanding a varied creative skillset
• Follow provided templates and brand guidelines that vary by client.
• Manage design projects and prioritize projects with our Operations Specialist to ensure on-time delivery
• Production knowledge and ability to create web-ready files for Development
• Have email design experience; knowledge of Mailchimp and/or Campaign Monitor is a plus
• Occasionally provide print-ready designs for low-run print production projects
• Provide graphic design work for the agency and our brands in alignment with our brand guidelines
• Other tasks as requested by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design required
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Digital Design position required
• Must have web and digital design experience
• Must have some presentation design experience

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in industry standard software- Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, XD, PowerPoint
• Must have experience in After Effects creating promotional animations
• Must be eager and open to learning new things and growing as a designer
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency
• A passion for digital design, typography, creative and strategic thinking
• Must be able to work with or without a Creative Brief
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with maturity
• Must be able to accept new responsibilities and respond positively to instructions and creative direction
• Must possess strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong digital portfolio
• Must be able to come into the office Tuesday-Thursday, this is a requirement. We work from home Mondays and Tuesdays!
