Senior Product Associate, Branch Expansion

As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer Banking, Geospatial Area Product, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development; maintains epics and stories in JIRA, evaluating readiness and outcomes, and proceeding with additional iterations, develop and prioritize a product backlog, and lead collaborative scrum events (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospectives)
- Works with business application owners and development teams to define business requirements, lead scope definition, drive technical implementation, End-2-End testing, and operational readiness
- Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
- Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
- Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
- Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills
- Expertise knowledge of JIRA and confluence tools, with ability to build dashboard – especially those requiring data structure setup
- Experience working with multi-level management and complex organizations and pull data for analysis
- Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving complex initiatives forward
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management; ability to synthesize large amounts of information, summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management
- Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, processes and data trends
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work with minimal oversight
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
Prior experience working within a real estate domain
Experience with geospatial data and tooling including, but not limited to: ArcGIS, Carto, Wherobots, or QGIS
