Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Enclosure Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing high-quality screen enclosures, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction disciplines, including carpentry, fabrication, and installation of fixtures, with a strong focus on outdoor structures. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to enhancing outdoor living spaces for our clients.

Duties

• Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to accurately install screen enclosures according to specifications.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to assemble and install enclosures on-site.

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation as part of the enclosure setup.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper alignment and structural integrity of installed enclosures.

• Apply caulking, plastering, stucco, and other finishing techniques to ensure a seamless appearance.

• Operate equipment such as scaffolding or lifts safely during installation processes.

• Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople involved in construction or remodeling projects.

• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols throughout each project.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work, including carpentry, fabrication, or related fields.

• Proficiency with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.

• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.

• Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and glass installation is a plus.

• Familiarity with construction management practices and inspection procedures is desirable.

• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during installation processes.

• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights safely.

• Relevant certifications or experience in plumbing or electrical work are advantageous but not required. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards in outdoor construction projects involving screen enclosures.
