Location: Perry, OH

Position Available: 4/27/26

Working Days: 180

Hours of Work: 10:30 am- 2 pm

Compensation: $13.22-18.55/hr

• Per OAPSE Local #367 negotiated agreement

Job Summary:
Perform the following functions as required in the Food Service Department:

• Be able to operate and maintain a dish machine
• Maintain, clean, and organize work areas in the dishroom
• Wash pans and dishes that that come from servers
• Maintain dish machine temperature logs
• Clean and close the dish machine, sink area and empty trash bin at the end of each day
• Maintain and order required dishwasher and cleaning supplies
• Assist in serving during lunch lines as needed
• Be able to assist other positions in the kitchen as needed
• Assist with special promotions for staff and students
• Follow all safety regulations
• Complete all food service trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room
• Assist with special promotions for staff and students
• Must be able to multi-task
• Knowledge of current food safety regulations as well as current meal component requirements in order to accurately recognize reimbursable meals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in school food service
