Upper Elementary Teacher – York Elementary School
York Public Schools is accepting applications for an Upper Elementary Teacher at York Elementary School . We are seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered educator who is passionate about helping young learners develop foundational skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional growth.
Position Details:
• Full-time, certified teaching position (Grades K–5)
• Start Date: August 2026

Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering engaging instruction in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Supporting students’ social-emotional development
• Collaborating with grade-level teams and specialists
• Communicating effectively with families and staff
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Coaching Opportunities Available:
• Head Boys Basketball
• Assistant Cross Country
Qualifications:
• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain) with the appropriate Elementary Education endorsement
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with young learners and helping them succeed
