We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator for our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while utilizing your expertise in the electrical engineering field. With your experience in the commercial construction sector, you will play a vital role in the preparation and submission of electrical estimates. As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our project managers and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Perform electrical take-offs and develop comprehensive bid packages.
• Utilize your knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) to ensure compliance in all projects.
• Manage change orders and communicate any changes or potential risks to the project manager promptly.
• Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Regularly review and update estimates, taking into account any changes in materials, labor, or other factors.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Proficient in NEC and other relevant codes and regulations.
• Experience in project management and familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and the latest industry trends.
• Proficient in electrical take-off and bid preparation.
• Experience managing change orders and communicating changes effectively.
