Job Description

We're looking for a self-motivated Solar Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the face of ARP Solar in the field --- diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring our customers' systems are operating at peak performance. If you're a problem-solver who takes pride in your work and genuinely enjoys helping people, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls, diagnostics, and repairs on residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems
• Operate independently to troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes
• Interact professionally with system owners, clearly explaining findings and solutions
• Conduct routine maintenance and quality inspections
• Document service visits accurately using company platforms
• Interface with equipment manufacturers to process warranty claims
• Adhere to all safety standards and protocols on every job site

Qualifications

• Experience with solar PV systems and equipment strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• NABCEP certification or working toward certification is a plus
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (no weekend travel required)
