About the Role

Spirit Homecare & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy services for patients in West Chester Township and nearby communities. The PTA will support Physical Therapists in delivering safe, goal-oriented rehabilitation to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Compensation

Per-Visit Rate: $45 per completed visit
Rate includes base pay and travel reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises focused on mobility, balance, strength, and functional improvement.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques.
• Document all visits accurately and within required timeframes.
• Communicate and coordinate with PTs, nursing staff, and other clinicians.
• Participate in case conferences or team meetings as requested.
• Follow all agency, clinical, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (required).
• Home health experience preferred; SNF or outpatient experience also acceptable.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.
• Ability to manage field visits while working collaboratively with the care team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.

Schedule & Coverage Area

• Monday–Friday, flexible scheduling based on caseload.
• Service area includes West Chester Township and surrounding regions.
• Local travel required between patient homes.
