Job Description Delivery Driver (Akron, OH)
** HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR AKRON, OH 2280 Picton Parkway, Akron, OH, USA **
LIGHTSPEED LOGISTICS, LLC
We are looking for responsible delivery drivers to distribute products to customers in surrounding areas. (Up to an hour radius)
You will represent our company in a professional manner by providing the highest level of customer focus and obsession. Health insurance, Paid Training, and Paid Time Off are offered
Responsibilities
- Deliver small packages (nothing over 50 lbs) in our cargo vans to different addresses through planned routes
- Drive an oversize van in all weather conditions *safely*
- Complete route in required time window
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
- STRICT ADHERENCE TO SAFETY STANDARDS
- Use GPS and other handheld devices while delivering
- Be responsible for keeping a clean truck for the next driver
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Work a 10 hour shift 3-4 days per week
- Good driving record with no traffic violations and possess a current valid drivers license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Be a TEAM PLAYER
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Consent to a 5 panel drug screen
- DOT medical card or CDL is a plus but not required
