HV Process Technician
- Hands-on individual contributor role responsible for the successful assembly and building of products to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Perform basic, routine manufacturing process operations such as monitoring of dispensing of raw materials, line clearances, basic analytics.
- Maintain machine uptime, perform any fault clearing and clear stoppages on automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues or general operating inefficiencies within the production processes.
- Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages.
- Report issues encountered to the Manufacturing supervisor to eliminate future production problems.
- Carries out equipment inspections and generates emergency, corrective, or preventative work orders as needed in the Work Order CMMS system.
- Perform preventive maintenance/maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive improvement opportunities.
- Assist and support Maintenance with troubleshooting and repairing of all manufacturing equipment.
- Assist Controls Engineers with the troubleshooting and repairing of all manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in the review of documentation for assigned areas (i.e. procedures, job plans, logs, area audits and other records as needed).
- Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work instruction reviews.
- Data entry into Plex and multiple platforms.
- Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment.
- Support other Manufacturing and Engineering areas as required.
- Assist as training resource on manufacturing tasks and equipment use.
- Oversight of equipment/process validation protocols independently.
- Support weekend and off-shift work as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Adhere to and support compliance with ergonomic guidelines.
- Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Associates degree or college studies in a related field (mechanical or electrical engineering, etc.) or prior experience in high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of ABS manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints.
- Ability to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems.
- Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001.
- Able to work in a flexible team environment.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint is preferred.
- Must be available to work various shift schedules; may need to work overtime.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.

- Able to complete physically demanding work.
- May be required to travel to and navigate a variety of locations.

- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, stoop, push, pull, stand, and carry as needed to inspect, service, and operate machinery, equipment, and gauges.
- Must be able to maintain attention for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, colors on prints, and/or operate field instruments/equipment.
