This role is so special youll be the very first smile our babies and families see each morning, and the steady, nurturing presence guiding our infant classroom throughout the day. Lead Infant Teacher Responsibilities
- Create and implement a warm, engaging, age-appropriate curriculum for infants (6 weeks 18 months), focusing on sensory play, early language development, motor skills, and emotional growth.
- Provide a safe, peaceful, and nurturing environment where each baby feels secure, loved, and supported.
- Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families about their childs growth and daily experiences.
- Build trusting, positive relationships with families through open communication and genuine care.
- Work closely with your team to ensure smooth daily routines and consistent, high-quality care.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization within the classroom.
- Arrive early to thoughtfully prepare the classroom so its clean, safe, and ready for the day.
- Welcome children and families with warmth and positivity each morning.
- Assist with breakfast or morning routines as needed.
- Ensure the center opens smoothly and in full compliance with licensing and safety regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree or certification preferred.
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children, families, and team members.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A true passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence in care.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and flexible in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfort with bending, sitting on the floor, standing, walking, and moving quickly when needed to ensure childrens safety.
