Job Opportunity – Obstetrician-Gynecologist – Ohio
Start Date: June 2025 (potential coverage), with ongoing needs beginning July 17
Location: Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM, 24-hour in-house laborist coverage, 2-3 weekends per month ongoing
Highlights:
- 24-hour laborist model with in-house coverage Friday through Monday
- 90% labor and delivery focus with support from LD nurses and midwives
- 34-bed labor and delivery/postpartum/triage unit within a 205-bed hospital
- Level II nursery with an average of four nursery admissions per day
- EPIC EMR system in use
- 1:4 call ratio with four physicians in practice and APP support during 12-hour shifts
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Ohio state medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Active DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Clean malpractice history
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of submission
- Proficiency in low and high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, and gynecological procedures including surgical gynecology
