Role Summary:
As Lead Technician, you'll own the quality and success of daily field work in exterior cleaning and preventative home maintenance. You'll lead by example on job sites, coach a Junior Technician, and represent HomeSmiles professionally with every homeowner and property manager you meet.
This is a key early hire for our Northwest Ohio launch in May 2026. Strong performers have a clear path to broader leadership as the business grows.

Pay & Perks

• $20$24/hour to start
• Monthly performance bonuses + commission on additional services

What You'll Do

• Drive to customer locations and manage appointments from start to finish
• Perform hands-on services: power washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and other preventative maintenance tasks
• Greet homeowners professionally, confirm service details, and obtain signed Terms & Conditions
• Document completed work using a company tablet
• Communicate findings clearly and recommend add-on services
• Coach and support a Junior Technician on-site

What Youll Need to Succeed

• Hands-on maintenance or trade-related experience preferred
• Willingness to coach and develop a Junior Technician with strong attention to safety, quality, and troubleshooting
• Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills (show up to every appointment on time)
• Professional, customer-first communication with the ability to spot and clearly explain additional homeowner needs when appropriate
• Comfortable working independently in occupied homes in a customer-facing role .
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in outdoor conditions .
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to teach others to use power tools, water-fed poles, squeegee systems, and rotary dryer vent tools
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
